How Doc-Vrse works

Engine: Word to PDF on production uses LibreOffice (see the LibreOffice project at https://www.libreoffice.org/). PDF to Word prefers pdf2docx when available, with a Node fallback. OCR uses Tesseract. Compress PDF uses Ghostscript when installed.

Maximum file size: 50 MB per upload. Supported extensions depend on the tool — for example Word to PDF accepts .docx; Invoice to Excel accepts .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg; batch ZIP accepts mixed supported files.

Deletion window: uploads and outputs are deleted about 15 minutes after conversion. Guest quota is 5 free as a guest, 5 more after signup (10 total).

GST Invoice to Excel extracts invoice number, date, supplier and buyer GSTIN (with check-digit validation), HSN/SAC codes, taxable value, CGST, SGST, IGST, totals, and mismatch flags into a multi-sheet .xlsx workbook.

Batch + ZIP converts multiple files in one job and returns a single archive. There is no unlimited paid plan — packs and Monthly 50 only.
